[W,R] Gathering Game

Each student have a word card.

when music start, hanging around classroom.

gather the other students, and make a full sentence.

when all word member of sentence gather, make a circle and sit down.

when music stop, the people who stand up is dead.

teacher check every groups' sentence.

dead people come up to the front and award penalty.

change word cards, and continue.

speak out the spelling of word in turn.

  2. Everyone stand up.
  3. I ask some questions, guess the card and answer.
  4. If your answer is correct, stay standing.
  5. If your answer is wrong, seat down.
winner: who survive at last time.

  1. I guess someones' answer. "Maybe~ your (       ) is (        )!"
  2. If you think my guess is True, write 'T' of True.
  3. If you think my guess is False, write 'F' of False.
  4. Let me check. 'T', raise your hand! 'F', raise your hand!
  5. let me check the answer. "What is your(           )?" 
  6. OK, T! circle around 'T'. / F! circle around 'F'.
winner: who get the most circle.

TIP.
-교사의 추측에 대해 그것이 맞는지 틀린지 추측하는 것이므로, 교사가 표정이나 억양을 알쏭달쏭하고 리얼하게 하면 학생들의 몰입도가 절정에 이르게 된다.

  2. one person come up to the front. and write one word on the board.
  3. draw 'X' on the correct word.
  4. it is 3 bingo. you can draw vertical, horizon, diagonal line.
winner: who get 3 bingo first.

-읽기, 쓰기에 초점을 맞췄으므로 영어로 쓰도록 한다.
-만약 스펠링이 틀리면 무효처리.

  1. what's this? it's a bingo sheet. what's this? it's a ball.
  2. First, write words on the bingo sheet. you can write in Korean.
  3. I ask you the question "           ?" and pass a ball.
  4. when you catch a ball, answer "            ."
  5. then, draw 'X' on the word.
  6. it is 3 bingo. you can draw vertical, horizon, diagonal line.
winner: who get 3 bingo first.

TIP.
-자칫 지루할 수 있는 빙고게임에 공던지기를 활용하여 재미를 살렸다.
-Listening&Speaking에 초점을 맞췄으므로 단어는 한글로 쓰도록 한다.
-아이들끼리 공 던지는 것이 아닌, 교사가 계속 asking 하며 여러 학생과 공을 던지고 받는다. 교사가 분위기를 컨트롤할 수 있고 여러 아이들에게 발화 기회를 제공할 수 있다.

  1. each team makes a line.
  2. everyone turn your chair, look at the backside.
  3. Only first person turn your chair and look at me.
  4. I show a word to first person.
  5. pass the word to next person. you can write letters on next persons' back.
  6. the last person write correct word on your board.
  7. when I say "HOLD UP!!", hold up your board.
point: who write correct word.
winner: who get most point.

-Make a supervisor (who can't write or speak well, or ADHD children)
